Review: Wisconsin power pop artist Derek Sallmann did his homework before recording his latest EP Love, Future You. He chose two previous LA Music Critic Award winning songwriters, Kyler England and Garrison Starr, to write with as well as producer Bill Lefler, who has worked with the likes of Ingrid Michaelson, Cary Brothers and Joshua Radin. The resulting EP is chock-full of positive and powerful pop songs that will lift you up and give you hope and inspiration. All five songs are binge-worthy, and we can’t think of a better way to start the new year than with this five incredible tracks.
